Hi,

I am Shafiq Islam (সফিক ইসলাম), a mathematician, educator, writer, documentary filmmaker, and social thinker from Bangladesh. Currently, I serve as Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics at Government Haraganga College.

Alongside my academic career, I have written and edited several books and publications on mathematics, science, philosophy, education, and history. I am also actively involved in documentary filmmaking, public lectures, and social initiatives that promote critical thinking, scientific awareness, and educational reform. My areas of interest include mathematics, education policy, bureaucracy, governance, philosophy of science, and social activism.
